The final design will be ready by the end of summer, according to Caroline McKinney, township spokeswoman and economic development director.īidding will be at the end of the year with construction beginning next year and occupancy no later than Aug. “The plan was designed to accommodate future growth,’’ said Lestor Melnyk, who is overseeing the design team for MSA Architects. There will be conference rooms and room for trustees to work or meet with the public. To the left will be the sheriff’s offices and to the right, administrative, fiscal and planning/zoning offices. Visitors will enter the 15,900-square-foot structure via a large, central lobby with a public meeting space behind it. Liberty Township is located in southwest Ohios Butler County in the center of the fast-growing Cincinnati-Dayton metroplex. The building itself faces Mauds Hughes Road and will have modern amenities, wiring and technology. The signage too, will be reflective of yesteryear, designed to fit in with the residential nature of the neighborhood including the original town hall across the street, now the home of Liberty Township Historical Society.
